Radiator flushing is normally completed by carrying out a power flush or sometimes by a chemical flush. Our Putney Radiator and power flushing experts can advise you on the best cours of action. If you have a noisy heating system, cold radiators or repeated pump failure it is quite likely that your system needs a power flush. When we power flush your radiators we will drain your heating system, connect our machine normally to the pump connections then refill. We will circulate strong chemicals through your system with the boiler on and radiators turned off. Once the main pipework has been cleaned we will then carry out individual radiator flushing, this will be repeated until the system is clean. Once your system is clean we will refit the pump, presurise the system and check for leaks. Once we have checked this we will then balance the radiators until each is a good temperature. If you have a boiler fault sometimes companies recommend a power flush without looking into the boiler fault which may not be related.
